#96 – GIVING A NEEDLE

The Adventure – Learning to Give a Needle

It’s a weird feeling…pushing the biggest mofo needle I have ever seen into my cat’s skin…all the while hoping that it doesn’t come through the other side to poke me.

It took over an hour or two to gather my courage to do this with my stomach in my throat – but Pookie didn’t even blink once.

She’s far braver than me.

I think this is classified as one of those unexpected monthly adventures I never dreamt I’d experience.

Needles.

Hate them so much I don’t even have pierced ears or tattoos.

Bottom line…you do what you gotta do for your fur children. Without question.

This is up there with some of my most challenging adventures.
